"Both Chris's are amazing ! Definetly the soul of this place. Very helpful on any hardware know how! Great people great small owned business"
"I may live 30+ minutes away but I will ship here again.I do not remember the associates name, but I have to say that I was given the best customer service. My lock in my door keeps freezing, and all of the places I had looked did not have graphite lubricant in stock. I happened to pass this hardware store, and thought to call and see if they had it. Not only did this store have it, they were cheaper than other stores. It actually ended up being a problem since I did not have cash on hand.Stores are charged so much for running cards, and it would have charged them more than the product was priced. The associate saw my dilemma, and told me to pay it forward. I will, thank you so much! Merry Christmas."
"No one at the front desk area. Worker (no name tag, he wasn't doing anything I thought he was just waiting on someone shopping) saw me standing waiting at the counter, he was sitting at a tray table? Thing? A bit a ways, I thought he was just a customer taking a break. He then after a bit he goes "you lost?" "Do you do UPS drop off here?" "We do." There is no signage anywhere. I go to ask where I should go (I've been standing at the counter that is also the entrance way? So I feel bad blocking the way but also it's a small hallway with stuff stacked high). He cuts me off and says "do you have the packages info?" I say do. I reach into my pocket and pull out my phone. He looks at it and then me, for a solid 20 seconds. "Oh. Is it a code scan thing?" It is a QR code. "Oh, we don't do that. Unless you can turn it into a ticket thing. Just go online and do it" go on to explain how he thinks Amazon works (it doesn't) and I'm like ok bye? I guess? Welp, waste of time! Please change your website that says you accept drop offs, this was very annoying. Also, the store layout is really bad. Having an old man "greet" you is like walking on to storage wars, a room full of stuff and no idea what to do with it."
"I use this shop for as much as I can because it's very convenient. They almost always have the quick things I need and way better than running all the way into town. The owner is always helpful to me. During this recent snowstorm I went to get some shear pins for my snowblower and forgot my wallet. He kindly just gave me the parts I needed. Would recommend."
"I am a frequent customer of Duneland Hardware. The location is convenient and the customer service is very helpful. I prefer to support local businesses who also support their community. I'm not handy and John always advises me what to get and if possible how to do it. My wife does painting jobs and gets all her paint there. We enjoy shopping there and you should too"
