"I have been to Skinphorea 2 times now, with a great experience in store both times. My issue is with management and their lack of communication. The day after my facial my eyes starting swelling and burning. I believe the esthetician got too close to my eyes. Now, over a week later my right eye is still swollen and in pain. I emailed them 3 days after my appointment to let them know. They followed up and asked for pictures and my skin routine. I responded immediately. I got no response. I emailed a few days later to show them how swollen my eye is. The only response I have received is that management may get in touch with you by X day. If not, it’s my responsibility to call the salon and ask for a manager. ???? Of course no one responded to my 2 emails. This is absolutely unprofessional and extremely frustrating. I should not have to reach out multiple times through multiple means of communication to get a response about an infection on my eye after a treatment. *UPDATE* 12/14: My under eyes have not been the same since this appointment. My skin has literally been damaged from my treatment going on 4 months now. My under eye skin used to look so youthful, always hydrated and hardly any wrinkles. Now it is always dry no matter how much eye cream I put on, making wrinkles more apparent. They are constantly dry and the skin is peeling. I seeked medical help from the reaction I had which cleared it up, but the skin under my eyes hasn’t been the same. In addition, I finally heard from management in which they denied me a refund, but credited the money to my account. Why would I want to go back to this place? STAY FAR AWAY if you wanted to be treated fairly as a customer by management."
