"My wife and I were looking forward to visiting this business when we decided to take advantage of an extended weekend in the U.P. of Michigan based upon our experience and purchases a few years ago. Unfortunately this visit wasn't as positive. This began when we asked how much an item was on the wall, since it wasn't tagged. The older gentleman ran around diligently looking at several other pieces that were the same, and after not finging a price on them either, offered a selling price of $45 after consulting the older woman. He ticketed the item with that price and we told him we would purchase it. Under advisement the woman asked her partner to retrieve the once outside since it would be easier to retrieve, at which point he discovered a price of $59.99. Rather than apologizing and explaining the error, she waited until we were checking out to tell us the $59.99 price, when my wife reminded her we wanted it. This is just one of several actions that we observed that we were shocked by a owner/representative of the business. Very disappointing, and we left with only purchasing one small item, less than $10, because of it."

"This is the most intricate and cared for shop I have ever been to. I will note that she doesn't want you to touch anything you aren't going to buy. In her defense, her shop is full of small, fragile, and easily stolen items. They carry porkies merch, fairies, outdoor decor, candy, rocks, jewerly, etc. The building decorated outside too; worth a stop just to admire."

"The customer service was absolutely horrible! I would never recommend this store to anyone! The woman working was very rude and was angry because we were trying to find the right size in clothing. She was so rude in fact, that we just left the store and didn't buy anything. Very disappointing!!"

"This is the place to go for Porkies gear. The visitor center gift shop doesn't have much to offer and we almost left empty handed before we checked out this little shop. Tons of t-shirts and sweatshirts, bumper stickers, even some copper samples."

"This is just about the coolest gift shop I've ever been in. No amount of time will allow you to see everything. I was just about to leave when the guy saw my camera and asked if I had seen the hummingbirds out front. I hadn't because we had parked on the other side of the building. DOZENS of hummingbirds! So cool. Don't miss it."
