"Super fresh and delicious food. I had the Mandi Lamb and it was so tender, it fell right off the bone. We ended up ordering more because we liked it so much. Make sure to add the side sauces it comes with! Super friendly and welcoming staff. Try the Adeni Tea, it’s some of the best I’ve tried in the Chicago area."
"We got the chicken haneeth and lamb Mandi. Everything was amazing. & The owner is very kind. Try the masoub, it’s a warm dessert with dates. It was delicious and the perfect thing on a cold winter day."
"You’ll eat the Best lamb meat and Yameni dish in town. Absolutely delightful. The owner is amazing and super friendly. Thank you for all the delicious food."
"Al-Diar Restaurant is a new addition to the neighborhood serving incredible Yemeni cuisine in Chicago. While seating may be a bit limited, the food is undeniably delicious and heartwarming. We had Chicken Mandi and Lamb Haneeth during our visit - the Chicken Mandi offered a fantastic charred flavor, while the Lamb Haneeth was incredibly tender, practically melting off the bone. Both dishes were served generously over seasoned rice. The house soup, delivered at the meal’s start, was hearty with a delightful kick of spice. Overall, it was a fulfilling meal and we are excited to return for more."
