"Went to the welcome center and told entrance to the tasting room was around the corner. Tried to find it and couldn’t. Had two elderly people with us and evidently the path to the room turns into grass. Not handicap friendly I guess and had to leave. Pretty place though."

"We are finding some really good wineries in MI (better than CA!), mostly in Traverse City but today we found one in Charlevoix - we enjoyed most of the wines here, especially the Chardonnay and Stonemason. The young ladies working in the tasting room were very helpful and friendly as well. The property was expansive and beautifully kept. We definition recommend! 4.5 Stars"

"The castle and winery were great! We were intrigued by the whole experience. We did the self guided tour with a map that was provided to us, the map was numbered, and it was easy to follow. Being able to walk around the grounds and castle at our own pace to take pictures was nice. We were given a free sample ticket to use at the winery as well. We probably spent 2.5 hours there."

"Beautiful castle grounds and winery. We did the self guided tour and tasted many wines. The different rooms and areas were in mid transition for the holidays but that was really cool to see. I can imagine the maze, trains, ponds and grounds would be really fun to visit in the summer but we had a good time. The wines are from Leelanau cellars but they have a good selection. The Ciders we're the star though. Give this place a shot, it's delightful. Recommend."

"Delicious wines, even for local grapes. The stonemason is wonderful. Workers are nice and helpful. This place is gorgeous. Don'tiss it just for the atmosphere. Walk the courtyard and the garden. So lovely for an afternoon."
