"I read reviews online and they were not wrong! We started with an order of onion rings and deep fried mushrooms since these were mentioned in reviews. They did not disappoint!! The portions were huge, these are homemade appetizers, not the normal frozen until fried that you get everywhere else. The locals were welcoming and friendly in conversation. My daughter ordered the prime rib sandwich and absolutely loved it. I ordered the 16oz ribeye with shrimp but was unable to get to it as I was determined to finish the appetizers. The presentation of the food was spectacular. The two gentlemen working were busy but that didn’t affect their hospitality and effectiveness. I highly recommend this establishment and know I will be coming back when I’m in the area."

"I visited this weekend with my sister in law and her friend who has a family cabin in the area. They were packed, which is a good sign for a restaurant! We were not in a rush at all but the waitress was very nice and let us know she had a few more tables that sat down at the same time as us so I went to grab drinks at the bar for our table while we waited. The bartender was so very nice and accommodating and the locals sitting at the bar were also very kind. The food: The fried mushrooms were amazing!! Of course we loved the cheese curds, but my fave was the breading on the mushrooms and onion rings. Steak was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better service. By the way the mushrooms on the steak are amazing as well! I am not usually such a giant fan of mushrooms but don’t sleep on it at this place. Yum yum!"

"Was not sure what to expect from Loretta's. When you arrive it looks like a county road bar, not a bad thing, but this a steak joint. Walk in and you see the space is comfortable and well designed but what got me; you smell the charcoal grill. I knew I was ordering a steak. The tenderloin and the ribeye where cooked to temperature (one medium the other rare) and did not disappoint. They had some nice local beers on tap, the service was attentive and very welcoming. For times you don't want to pay up for steak they have plenty more on the menu.....we will definitely be back."
