"First time here. What a cool place. We came on a Friday. My husband got fish and chips and I got catch of the day which was perch so good. I want to come back and try the steaks. My husband had the chocolate cake for dessert and I had the carrot cake roll oh my goodness, so yummy! We’ll be back"

"Went on Jan 16th. What a joke. Looked like the bathroom pipes burst and the plumber kept going in and out leaving the door open and it was 10° that day so the restaurant was freezing inside. They shouldve closed but I understand how greed works. In addition, one of the cooks never showed up so we waited 40 min for 2 meals to come and we were the only people in the place. Then 10 min later the waitress brings the 3rd meal incomplete. Instead of bringing out the entire fried chicken meal, she brought 1 leg and 1 wing and cold mashed potatoes. 15 min go by and she brings the remainder of the chicken. By that time the mashed potatoes were ice cold. She was not friendly about it and did not deserve the tip we left. In addition, my daughter was sick the next day from the French dip sandwich.This place was good when they 1st opened, now it sucks and we will never be back."

"Can’t express enough how great this place has become! Service is outstanding and very friendly, welcoming atmosphere and staff. Food was amazing! Steak cooked perfect, Mac & cheese super gooey cheesy! Even the simple house salad seemed to be assembled with care and attention, not just tossed in a bowl. Must try the carrot cake roll!! It even smells great, and was super tasty!! Absolutely going back!!!"

"My husband and I had not been here for a few years and stopped for lunch today. Our food was excellent; fresh, hot and delicious. Our service was also exceptional. We had our server, and whom we assumed was a manager or owner, waiting on us. They were both very attentive and friendly. I went in expecting fried bar food (which would have been fine), but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of everything we ordered. Prices were lower than expected (in the current economy) for locally raised beef, seemingly local ingredients. We are expecting this to be a new favorite hangout. A little bit of a drive for us, but seemingly worth it! Well done CoonCreek! We will be back soon!"
