"Good spot to go on a busy night. The food that we had was not great. The portion size is really big though. We tried the cauliflower, the michigan salad, and the chicken wrap. we did love the ranch for the wrap."

"Typically, nothing can drown my spirits when I am about to go to a Red Wings game, but the Royal Oak Tap House did just that. Me and my tiny bellied girlfriend went to this place of dining with high hopes and high spirits before our traditional Red Wings game ventures. We decided to split chicken strips and a plate of pasta. The service was actually pleasant. The food, that's why this review is being written. Let me tell you just what went down. The food came out in prompt time and boy was I hungry. I could not wait to jump into the chicken tenders and some pasta. The pasta came on this giant plate and was damn near overflowing. That was a nice surprise though as it seemed like an endless dish. So, you might be wondering where the issue arises. It was the dipping sauce of choice for my beloved chicken strip dinner. I was fooled into thinking that I would be dipping my dinner in ranch. But no, I was dipping my dinner in blue cheese!!! I was disgusted. It was an unpleasant surprise and killed my tastebuds. It was honest mistake but it should not have happened. Good luck to those that choose this location for a meal, may the odds ever be in your favor."

"Waitress Emma was great. Told us she was new to serving and she did just fine. Was a busy time of day. Always a great vibe and the music was definitely on point! Will definitely be back!"

"Service wasn't great although the place was dead. Ate at the bar, dirty dish wasn't cleared for 15 minutes with 6 customers in the entire place. The "Taphouse Treasure" was one of the most interesting takes on chicken & waffles I've tried in a long time. Very good just a bit on Tue sweet side for my taste."
