"Fantastic spot to eat! Now downtown smells like BBQ everywhere and I love it. The pulled pork was delicious and had a great smoky flavor. We tried everything on tap and I can't say I didn't enjoy any of it. I couldn't get enough of the coleslaw either. Can't wait to visit regularly. Edit: we went on Thursday and brought friends for opening day Saturday and both times the food and service was spectacular despite the place being PACKED. The chicken and nachos were mouth watering. Can't stress enough how great this place is."

"Nice place, great location, parking in the rear. The beer was okay, there is potential here. They are so busy they can't keep up. I think with time they will get the beer right. They opened at 4, we arrived at about 4:15 PM, they were about half full, by 4:30 there was a line. The food was good, we had the sliders and a beef brisket side. The service was outstanding, they were slam packed busy, and they were friendly and fast. I'll be back and maybe update my rating."

"Great spot for a beer, the Vanilla Porter was excellent. However, if you’re looking for good food and quality barbecue this isn’t the place. Portions were small and food looked unappetizing. Poutine arrived lukewarm with no gravy."

"Visited on opening Saturday. They were pretty busy, but the staff was really friendly and attentive. The service was really good. The beer selection was a bit limited, but overall pretty decent. I'm excited to see what they do in the future. The inside is nicely done and well setup for small to medium sized groups. I love the moaiac they found and left at the rear entrance from an older or original remodel. This should be a really nice addition to the Downtown atmosphere."

"The interior is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was positively delightful. I'm a huge fan of porters and the Heights Porter is one of the best I've ever tasted. It is a no frills, absolutely delicious Porter. The brisket and the mushroom were perfection. The coleslaw is crave-worthy and I don't even like coleslaw! The street corn dip and chips made a perfect appetizer."
