"Great atmosphere, delicious food and pleasant service! We really enjoyed our visit to Gus’ Snug and recommend it to all our friends. They have a happy hour from 3-6 Monday through Friday. We got the Bee’s Knees gin cocktail and Gus’ seasonal Egg Nog cocktail, both were original recipes, well made and tasted good! We split a Shepard’s Pie and Celtic Reuben. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a great addition to downtown Clawson and the pubs interior has been updated since it replaced MooseWinooski’s, adding little alcoves (snugs), a fireplace and a modern glass garage wall that will be nice during patio season."

"The place reminded me of summer time and game day! The food was on the better side of bar food. Somthing we better then others like the Fraench Onion Soup. But it is a great place for big party's and a good beer. The kitchen can be a bit slow but food was still yummy!"

"We couldn't wait for Gus to open in this spot. Walking in was a treat it has that old time bar look that we love so much, warm cozy wood bricks, and a tin ceiling. and layed out with different areas to satisfy everyone's likes. Three of us sat at the bar with server Mariah who was fantastic that helped us with our first orders. I had the fish and chips that was the best I have ever had fluffy without any sign of grease now that is a mystery of how they cooked it probably a secret. Others had the reuben sandwich that was very lean fat free corned beef, and potato leek soup also excellent. Large beer selection like most Irish Taverns. Service was number 1 from friendly Mariah who really added to our first visit and made for a reason to return again and again. And yes I did return this time we were taken well care of by Abby and Katie 3 beautiful girls inside and out in a row this time I had the Piedmontese burger it was fantastic. I like mine with just grilled onions and pickle. We can't wait to return. This place is spotless and just makes you feel good. Photo is of my burger with a bite taken out to show it cooked as I ordered medium rare. My friend had fish and chips and love it like I did the other day."
