"Spirited is very unique to the South Bend area (I live here). It bravely opened at the start of the Covid era and was on my list to try. It was an early Friday evening and we were in need of an after dinner cocktail. We conveniently parked and upon approach of the establishment were met by an amicable gentleman in black. Turns out it was Matt, the proprietor. First impressions were 'cozy', 'speakeasy', 'tastefully mysterious' and a place we would be comfortable in. In general I'm a Martini and Bourbon guy, my wife a craft cocktail gal. The menu revealed a master mixologists portfolio of high end libations to which my wife suggested we were be returning until she'd tried them all. This place is really cool and cozy and Matt is fantastic mixologist and host who really has a gem here for great libations you can conversate over."

"Great atmospheric cocktail bar with a dark and gloomy vibe. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, the menu had a lot of different flavor profiles and they've very affordable."

"Would never have thought we’d find a high end cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe in south bend. Matt is an incredible bartender and passionate about his establishment. Entire menu is his creation. I’ve drank a lot of bourbon and whiskey in my life - and across this country - and this is right up there with the best of them. Thanks Matt for a great experience for my dad and I. Everyone needs to fill this bar and experience his creations!"

"We love stopping here for a cocktail or two! Matt is an amazing mixologist. He is attentive and very creative. In the photos the drink on the right is an old fashion. The drink on the left is a drink that Matt got creative with. The atmosphere here is very cozy and inviting. This really is a place everyone should experience at least once."

"I've been a few times and have enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks. I love that I can try new drinks when I'm there. They don't just have your regular cocktails, they have alcoholic works of art. It's definitely one of my favorite places to recommend for drinks. That chocolate and marshmallow drink had my mom start making a list of people to invite so she can come back and get another one."
