Reviews of Flat River Saloon
"Great little place to get a bite to eat! Great food super friendly wait staff"
"Food definitely ruins the place for me. Service is amazing however. I recently got the fish and chips and it used to be caught locally but I got a square of frozen mush from the dollar store (wasn't frozen I could just tell it used to be). I wish I had more good things to say because I have been going there since I was a kid so I want to love this place. Unfortunately, I would definitely not recommend unless you're going to just drink and hang with friends."
"An Unsettling Incident at Flat River Saloon Rating: 1/5 Stars Dive bars, in their rugged charm, often bring an element of the unexpected, but my recent experience at the Flat River Saloon in Six Lakes was horrifyingly beyond the usual surprises. The establishment, managed with a misplaced sense of bravado by its owners, served as the backdrop for an incident that left me, my family, and my friend shaken. On this particular visit, we witnessed an alarming assault by a man, identified as a Marine, on an innocent individual who was merely trying to leave the bar. Despite the victim being unconscious and in clear distress, the assault persisted, turning an otherwise ordinary evening into a scene of brutality. Attempting to stop this violent act, we found ourselves in the crosshairs of the bar owner, Terry, who instead of appreciating our intervention, responded with threats. It was shocking to see an establishment's owner contribute to the chaos rather than mitigate it. To add insult to injury, the assailant's girlfriend even tried to accuse me of assault when I was merely attempting to prevent further harm to the unconscious individual. It's deeply concerning that in trying to stop violence, one can become a target of baseless accusations and threats. As the night further unfolded, suspicions arose about the owner potentially protecting the assailant from law enforcement. This alleged act of complicity, coupled with the victim's reluctance to press charges, paints an alarming picture of a culture of fear and manipulation within this establishment. The Flat River Saloon has sadly shown itself to be more than a simple dive bar; it seems to operate as a sanctuary for those who favor lawlessness and intimidation over community and respect. For an establishment to support such actions, or even allow them to occur without intervention, is both morally reprehensible and incredibly dangerous. I would not only discourage visiting this bar but also encourage any patrons who've had similar experiences to report these incidents to the Better Business Bureau. It's essential to speak out against such a blatant disregard for human dignity and safety. It's about standing up against an environment that promotes intimidation, violence, and fear. Our patronage is a vote. Let's cast it in favor of establishments that foster safety, respect, and a sense of community. Unfortunately, in its current state, Flat River Saloon doesn't come close to fulfilling these basic expectations."
"This place offers terrific food for the value, and we always enjoy the fare. Service is great in the respect that they check in you, and the people are wonderful. The only think I noticed is that we seldom get silverware at our table. Not a deal breaker since I usually order finger food. Try the tacos!"
"Food was great staff was amazing everything was very good very well priced will definitely visit again if in the area"
