However it is to note that his kindness made our day better. Given the experience, could not leave without purchasing something. This gift shop is the most unique in the area. It's in a more secluded area, but a gem. You will find things you cannot find in any of the other shops in the area. We left with a wooden bookmark and Michigan napkin holder."

"We really enjoyed spending a early Sunday morning looking through their gift store selections of decorations, T-shirts, books and lighthouse art while we talked with the volunteer working that morning about the lighthouses we have been to and want to visit someday. She had lots of advice about where to visit and suggestions about which lighthouses are near Mackinac and Cheboygan that we should go see. They had some limited edition items we have never seen anywhere else."
