"I feel like this spot is a hidden gem. Some of the best, elevated mexican food I've ever had. They have amazing non-alcoholic drink options and a solid vegan selection! I dig spicy food, and generally food with one pepper spice rating is right up my alley. Here though, the one pepper rated burrito had me seeing God it was so spicy. Decisions were made though, and I still ate all of it because it was just that tasty."

"Clocked Loco Boys while heading to another restaurant. Pure foodie curiosity led me to check out the menu + seeing the plaintains alone were enough to entice us to circle back after multiple failed attempts to dine at recommended restaurants that were either closed or had no tables available. Best "detour" ever! As a person of Caribbean descent, I'm serious about my plaintain! They were the right amount of ripe — sweet + firm — and fried just right to create a textural contrast with the Pineapple Chayote Salsa + Pepitas, which added a delightful bright, citrus, crunchy bite. I'm a Birria fan + couldn't pass up the chance to try it with lamb! The perfectly fried shells were generously stuffed with tender shredded lamb. Incredibly delicious. The only thing that was missing (and, to be fair, I didn't notice until I was halfway through my second taco) was the fresh onions, cilantro + radishes that often come with birria. A pickled red onion would've gone nicely with this too. Although there's no tableside service (you must order at the bar or by QR code), they don't compromise on hospitality! Dani was a consummate bartender/server — genuine, attentive + knowledgeable. She accommodated my friend's preference for a semi-sweet cider by blending the Dry + Sweet ciders to her desired taste. Hands down, the best service we received in TC. The Sargeant Largent Imperial Stout is top tier — rich, chocolatey + creamy with a 9% ABV, so get some food in your system + have it as dessert!"

"Bring this one to the top of your list! Visit Loco Boys if you haven’t already! The food and drinks are top notch and the atmosphere is crisp and subtle. The entire experience was unique in comparison to other local Mexican restaurants. Our group of 3 could not choose just one thing to order! We sampled several of the drinks and were surprised at the variety available! We decided to get 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts, which didn’t even scratch the surface of trying everything we want to try. I am not typically a burrito person, but could not ignore the beauty pictured below as it came of the food line. The De Verdura melted in my mouth! We will certainly be back! As Locos (locals) ourselves Loco Boys is our new go-to spot!"

"Food was crazy good. I got the Barbacoa burrito and the spice was great. As someone who loves spice it made me blow my nose twice while eating which is such a seal of approval. We got some fried plantains that were delicious. The drinks were also on point."

"Great brewery with fun food options. Their homemade chips with fresh guacamole is probably one of my favorites in TC. Burrito was very big and chicken is quite spicy but flavors are spot on. Love the tacos. I'm not a huge fan of beer but my husband enjoyed a few and said they were good. I did enjoy the mead. The outdoor seating is nice and spacious and both food and drinks came out super fast, even though they were quite busy."
