"Just one of the cutest little stores you'd ever want to visit. A small, but VERY HIGH QUALITY selection of toys and baby clothes! I was really, really impressed at the brands and selections, lots of good stuff here. Having worked for years in retail, I was super impressed with the merchandising and use of space. For a very small shop, every inch of space is used, and used thoughtfully and professionally. And on top of everything, one of my all time favorite artists, Buddy Holly, was playing on the store's sound system! Doesn't get any better than that. Please do realize that this is a boutique toy and baby clothing store, and the prices reflect that, but then so does the quality of the merchandise. I was very impressed. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!"

"Great selection of quality toys! One of the best I have seen anywhere. As a child development specialist and now a grandmother I stay very familiar with what is available in the toy market. A bit overwhelming as there is so much inventory crammed into the space. Between Door County Kids and Door County Baby I saw lots of toy brands that you do not usually find. You might need a little help to narrow things down but you should be able to find a great toy(s) for any interest or age of young child."

"As my husband and I were casually walking around the store, we notice the prices were a bit on the high end, not uncommon in Door County. I noticed a pair of boots, they look very similar to the Ugg brand. I said to my husband "Look at these cute Ugg knock offs", the lady working not only was eavesdropping but rudely interrupted that they weren't knock offs but they were the 'Lazy Ones' brand. Her and I went back and forth a little, before my husband abruptly walked out, and I soon followed. A knockoff is defined as "a copy or imitation, especially of an expensive or designer product". Because the brand was similar to in look and style, they are considered knock off. That's not necessarily a bad thing, or that it was poor quality, just that they took the same design and made their own. I was actually interested in purchasing a pair for my child because the price was affordable for knock off Uggs (and much cuter for kids), but after her attitude, I won't be shopping there again."
