"This place is amazing to just to hangout in the lake. Water is just knee deep, few places it is deeper. There was a hot dog boat if you get hungry. Parking is only concern in the public access beach. Maximum 3 car can be stopped."

"A massive sand bar in the middle of Torch Lake where everyone can boat, swim or float out and chill on a hot summer day with your favorite beverages, tunes and friends. There is actually a couple of floating burger and hot dog stands in the middle of the sand bar! Gotta say... this is the pinnacle of summers in Northern Michigan. It real doesn't get much better than this."

"One of the best summer spots in all of Michigan. Always fun for adults although probably not the best environment for little kids. You need a boat to access the sand bar because there is no public beach adjoining this location on the lake. However there are many local boat rental companies that can get you set up. If you're in the area in the summer....if the weather looks nice.....do it. You will not be disappointed. Ever."
