"I've been coming here since I was a teen in the early 2000s, back when they were at their prior location. Even though I moved away from the Midwest when I was 21, I never come back to Muskegon without a visit to this gem. So glad to see them doing so well. When I visited last week, there was a line almost out the door! Such a friendly and homey environment. I've never visited another place like it. "

"A fun candy store boasting contemporary candies by global companies, regional "old timey" candies and "craft" candy. These are available in either individual packages or bulk. There is also fudge, "craft pop", popcorn and ice cream available."

"BEST candy store and more!!!!! I recently moved from Muskegon to the Kalamazoo area, and there ISN'T another candy shop that has what Lakeside does. Lakeside Emporium has that family hospitality that is barely seen. In addition to, they have some of those hard to find candies that my grandparents love sooo much (even though they shouldn't have them). This is a MUST place to visit if you are in the Muskegon area. The flavor's in their truffles are a must to try, along with their chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered oreos. I have tried MANY candy shops, but I still haven't found anything that can beat Lakeside Emporium's taste, and their prices for that wonderful experience. Thank you Lakeside!!!!!!!"
