"My sons and I have been going here for close to six years. Jermaine is our barber. We always get compliments on our haircuts so that says it all as far as quality. The prices for a cut are pricey, but worth it. The atmosphere is comfortable. Everybody speaks, laughs, and jokes! I recommend an appointment but they do walk-ins. One draw back, even with an appointment, there are times I've had to wait. I don't complain because I understand they are trying to make their money and any other quality barbershop you may have to wait for a minute. I hate that Lakeside will be closing. I hope Custom Eyes relocates somewhere close.."

"I got my hair curled literally that’s it no wash no dry no install nothing just curls and she trimmed where needed. Everything was cool but I was charged 80 I feel intentionally just me. The curls shouldn’t have cost any more than $50 if even that. I feel my demeanor and just being the kind of person I am is why I was up charged like that. I don’t think it would have happened if I were a regular or blended in better. It was definitely a finesse. The Only reason I didn’t say anything was because the lady was my elder and I’m just not a confrontational person. I really do feel played though. Also I was tell her to come at 4:30 as I called and advance to ask if they even had time for me, as it was last minute. I came at 4:30 as told and waited till six to even be seated and curled."

"Love this place! Got my hair washed and styled by them a year ago and then this year went back for a fresh look with lots of color! You want amazing color be sure to hit up Carmyn!! I absolutely love her work! Everyone there makes you feel welcome and overall it's just a fun environment to get your hair done! If you have the time they do very high quality work. Trust me it's more than worth the time spent on what you get."

"I would like to give a shout out to Unique, the hairstylist who cut & styled my hair. My man wasn't for sure about me getting my hair cut so short, but when I got home... he loved it! I've been getting lots of compliments wherever I go. Unique fitted me into her schedule the same day I wanted to come in. I was very thankful for that. Also, the environment of the salon is very professional & clean. They greet & literally sanitize after every client. They also have barbers that can get men together with a fresh hair cut & shave... check this place out & get booked"
