"Lived in this area forever l, but I avoid this beauty supply. Just needed something small so I ran in, and you must spend more than 5 dollars for debit purchases, which is illegal to do in Michigan. For credit that's different, the woman up front found humor in me paying in change but I honestly couldn't find anything in that store that was worth grabbing to add up to 5 dollars. Hate when stores do that to make more money, especially hate when there's not nothing worth adding up to that. Bought products years ago and the gel was old and when it kept happening I decided not to come back. I braid hair and wanna support a black owned business but be forreal."

"I purchased a wig and the entire crown of the wig came out after wearing it once. Every brush or comb, resulted in small tracks of hair falling out. Took the wig back, and the excuse she gave not to replace, return, the wig was, it was not hers. I recalled the experience to her and she denied it was her wig. As I was leaving the store she says, it is my packing. I said, because it is your wig, and you know it. I was trying to support a Black owned business and that was a challenge because the wigs look dry and old. Pull the hair on the wigs if you buy one to make sure they are not dry rotted, because she will deny she sold it to you."

"This is a very nice spot for the beauty supply store. The proprietor is very nice and very friendly and it has practically all of the items I'm looking for even from a African perspective. I can really enjoy being in a place like this versus going to other stores and they really don't have anything that's geared towards the African American person. But the good thing about this place is they have a lot of other items that is outside of what you may not find at a hair and Beauty Store. Two thumbs up."
