"We visited Ron’s after Christmas and before the new year . Tried the classic pasty 16 oz . It was a lot of pasty!! The filling was fabulous. Definitely made to perfection. We also muffin and apple fritter but I was too full to taste it at the restaurant. It is peaceful and quiet . Beautiful scenery. Highly recommended it."

"I made the mistake of going near the end of the day, and they were sold out of fresh pasties so I ended up getting some frozen to take home and I have to say they were some of the best I have ever had. Full of flavor and filling. Went back a few days later and picked up a few to bring back home and also got a wild berry pie that was delicious. We will be back next year when we vacation near Copper City."

"I'm not from the area (I'm from Illinois), so I didn't know what to expect here. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the food, especially the breakfast pasty. We stayed up here in Houghton for a few days to check the area out, and we came across this place. We came here not just once, but twice, because the first day, they were out of breakfast pasties. Because they were out, we opted for some breakfast sandwiches with bacon. It almost blew my mind how savory it was when I took my first bite. We also grabbed some pastries each day, just to be safe. I absolutely loved the apple fritter and the cherry turnover. On the second day, we managed to snag some breakfast pasties, and oh my, were they delicious. So delicious. You have to come in early for them, though, because coming in at 9 am is too late to get your hands on them! Thank you for having us. We'll be sure to come back in the future!"
