"The Gold Mine is a regular stop when we’re Up North. Have gotten some beautiful jewelry and unique decor there over the years. It’s always fun to see what new things they have from the local artisans. It’s also a favorite shopping destination for our young granddaughters who always find something relatively inexpensive that catches their eye. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The girls like that they are treated like any other customer, staff is always patient with them, and their purchases are boxed or put in a fancy bag for their trip home which makes them feel special. "I have been looking for months at different jewelry stores for a new wedding set to replace mine of 25 yrs. We went on vacation in Michigan and happen to stop into Gold Mine Jewelry to window shop....low and behold there sat one of the most beautiful rings I had ever seen! I took the whole weekend to think about it as it was an investment. On Sunday they seen me walk in and knew right away why I was back. "The Gold Mine is AWESOME. I have been visiting St. Ignace/Mackinac Island for years and stopping in to shop here is always a highlight of my trip! The staff is amazing - great knowledge and great conversations! I brought several pieces in for repair, including my mothers wedding ring that I wanted to have made into a necklace (pic attached) Yvonne did a beautiful job and it brought me to tears when I saw it -good tears! They went above and beyond and completed the work in one day as I was heading home to Florida. I can only shop in store twice a year, but can still shop online where I have purchased other items - packaging is great and shipping fast! Thank you Gold Mine...I'll see you soon!"
