"I can’t say how thankful I am to have the opportunity for my son to attend lighthouse autism center. When we first went on a tour of lighthouse my son was basically non verbal and never wanted to go inside anywhere but I couldn’t get him to leave our tour right there I knew we didn’t have to go on any tours because my son just picked where he wanted to attend Aba therapy. The first day he started I picked him up everyone at lighthouse was jumping up and down and clapping and he had such a huge smile it was one of the best days ever seeing my interacting out in a public setting. And a year and a half later my so. Has made huge progress we can have full conversations with him . And all his specialist like pulmonary doctor his primary doctor his occupational therapist his physical therapist his neurologist his genetics doctor are so impressed with the progress he has made and that progress that he made is all because of lighthouse autism center we wouldn’t be where we are today without them . They have the best program and staff I am so thankful for everyone at lighthouses. So if your a parent like me of a special kiddo like I have and want the best aba therapy lighthouse autism center would be my recommendation. They have helped us threw so many obstacles and still cheer us on . They never give up on families and also understand and support the struggles that us parents go threw . They have some special talent my son learned deep breathing and that’s something they work on with him he so good at deep breathing he could be a Lamaze cough at four years old . Also doctor appointments was a struggle my son wouldn’t allow anyone to touch him I basically had to hold him kicking and screaming and with all the specialist he has now I can actually sit and talk with the doctor and he allows them to do the examine on the big boy table . Thank you so much and I will keep telling everyone I know about lighthouse and where to get Aba therapy . You guys are the best ."
"During my son's time at the center, I observed significant improvements in his behavior, thanks to the valuable support and guidance provided by the staff. Their expertise in addressing behavioral issues and offering effective strategies to tackle these challenges has been instrumental. Notably, my son has shown progress in verbal communication and effectively utilizing his communication device. However, I would like to express some concerns regarding certain aspects of the center. It occasionally seemed that the children were perceived primarily as financial assets, which left me disheartened. Furthermore, I noticed that any absence my son had, be it due to scheduled speech or occupational therapy sessions or other important engagements, was recorded against his attendance. This policy, which potentially leads to expulsion from the program, strikes me as unjust and uncompassionate. It made me question whether the center genuinely valued my son's presence and well-being. Another aspect that troubled me was the frequent rotation of staff members without clear explanations. This inconsistency in personnel created a sense of instability and hindered the development of strong rapport between my son and the caregivers. It appeared that prioritizing attendance at the center took precedence over other essential factors, including building consistent relationships with the staff. I believe that a program focused on supporting children with special needs should prioritize their individual progress and well-being above all else. It is my hope that these concerns can be addressed and improvements can be made to ensure that every child receives the comprehensive care and attention they deserve within a nurturing environment."
