"I came in to the office to get a copy of my daughter’s eye glass prescription. The receptionist told me that they can not give it to me because they need the dr. to sign off on it first. I have already been in there before when she went the year prior to get a copy, as my mother did also. They gave it to us right away no signature from dr. I then called 3 other eye. Doctors after I left and they said no you absolutely do not need the dr. Signature and weren’t sure why they would not just give it to me as they are closed documents and are ours to have. I am extremely upset due to the fact my daughter can barely see anything without her glasses lost them on a ride at the fair and I just needed to order her a new pair immediately. This was completely uncalled for and I will never be back ever again!!"
"The staff here is wonderful. I didn’t catch the girls name who helped me, but she was very friendly and patient in helping me choose a pair of safety glasses. I’ll definitely be going back for an everyday pair of frames."
"Giving 1 star because the front girls are great. But I have never been to a place so unprofessional in my life. They had already canceled last minute 3 separate times prior. This appointment doctor was going to be 45 minutes late making us miss other obligations. Linda was rude and unapologetic and kept making excuses instead of saying sorry. She was condescending and showed a huge lack of respect. All Linda wanted to do was argue and be confrontational when it was my time and money wasted. Because of her and the doctor’s lack of professionalism, I will be finding a new optometrist. Unless you want to waste money and time, don’t make appointments here."
"I’m been a patient here for a few years and have only stayed because my parents wanted me to go here. Family doctor type thing, y’know? Dr. Miller and his wife are kind, but I’ve never liked the service provided. They never respond to the few voicemails I’ve left, they ordered GLASSES that I DID NOT order, and they’ve messed up my contact order multiple times. They left a voicemail inquiring about the glasses and if I wanted them. When I didn’t respond right away/left a voicemail that they never responded to me about, they ordered the glasses anyway. They also overcharged me to get ONE nose pad fixed. When I called to ask about it, they said they would refund me, but they never refunded me or called me back! There’s always over an hour wait to get back even when the place is empty. I hate spending my time here. The employees will talk to you for forever in exam. I’m sure that some people like that, but I would rather you just do your job. I don’t need you at talk to me for 5-10 minutes about some Blueberry festival after you’ve completed your portion of the exam. I picked up my contacts today (which again, they messed up) and asked for my records so I could go someplace else. I’m sick of this place. They refused to give me my records even after I signed a release. I don’t know which eye doctor I am going to see next, but any place is better than here."
"Miller Eye Center saves the day and likely my eye!! Over the weekend I had an incident with my left eye while in Chicago with my kids. I couldn't take my contacts out otherwise I couldn't drive home. So I gutted it out and left them in until I could complete my drive home. Anyway, my left eye had been painful, tearing and swollen. It was better yesterday but today right back to being bad. So I called Dr Miller's office and they brought me in tonight to look at it. I have a peripheral cornea ulcer. Dr Miller was great! His staff was helpful and friendly. Of course, as everyone knows his wife is an amazing lady who keeps that place running perfectly. They were wonderful. I'm glad I called!!"
