"I was just recently hired and the doctor fired me. I followed protocol and notified my supervisor as to why i didn't come to work today and was going to provide documentation. Dr. Grant violated my rights because i needed medical treatment that I didn't feel comfortable getting at the Campus Health Center and lied to me Dont even waste your time with this place."
"I made an appt for my COVID booster and flu shot. I showed up 20 minutes early as required and was left standing in the rain waiting for them to unlock the waiting room. Then I waited another half an hour in the waiting room. The office appeared to be fully staffed, and there were no other patients. I was never checked in, and made an appointment elsewhere and left after 50 minutes of waiting. I took sick time off work for this. I sure hope I don't get charged the no call no show fee"
"Had unpleasant experience, took appointment at the morning. A lady called me with sad face like she met a devil then I waited 45 minutes until she came back to give me the shoot. Note: The center contains great people but that lady had a bad day and wanted others to have it."
"Wayne State sends a mass email out stating that second booster shots would be available here. FOUR qualifications were listed SEPARATELY. I met the last qualification that stated, “four months since first COVID-19 booster.” I call and make an appointment for this vaccine. The person on the phone knew I was a student for one and didn’t question if I had any underlying health conditions, the appointment was just simply made. How come when I arrive, a different lady asks if im immunocompromised. I said no. She says you are not able to get the vaccine, you don’t meet the qualifications. I pull up the email Wayne State sent out and she says they messed up the wording. The wording…… well if that was the case why wasn’t it clarified or corrected? It’s honestly a shame on both ends. It’s misleading on Wayne States part if what she said is true and it’s ridiculous not to ask if I was immunocompromised OVER THE PHONE when I made the appointment. I drove all the way there in the pouring rain to be denied. Figure out what the policy is and stick by it since your employees are uninformed and doing two completely different things. Oh and by the way it’s still a pandemic why are the employees not wearing masks?"
"Trash. They clearly do not know how to manage the COVID-19 pandemic. They're so quick to put people in isolation for seasonal allergy symptoms and all it does is encourage students to lie on the campus screener. Not to mention their negligence that comes with taking care of individuals in isolation. It is virtually impossible to find a COVID testing appointment when I called every hour for 2 days straight and only 2 calls of those calls were picked up, while neither of my voicemails were returned. Of the calls that were picked up they said they were swamped at the moment and would call me back to schedule an appointment. They never did call me back."
