"Elana Goell is well educated in her field. However, she could improve on her ability to care, listen, support, or calm clients with anxiety. Most of my sessions ended with me feeling judged and criticized. Also, she's very religious and references the Bible every chance she gets - no matter how many times you ask her to focus on science-based discussion. I stayed for a full year hoping things would get better but they never did. There were even entire sessions dedicated to billing issues because her biller got me confused with another patient and billed me for sessions I never had. Our therapy session was the only space in which she we could discuss these billing errors because she couldn't understand it via text. It was a painful year. You can probably find a better therapist."
