Dr. Matthew F. Kulick, DO Opdyke Medical

"Before Dr. Kulick passed away, I really loved this practice. I felt like I found a doctor's office that was good at handling my overall health and developed a great doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Kristyn. I moved away temporarily, and when I came back, a new doctor took over the practice. I was hoping for the same comfortable feeling, but that's not what I got. This place has gone downhill since Dr. Kulicks passing. Dr. Beydoun is belittling, has a condescending air about her, gaslights, speaks poorly about the previous doctors who ran the practice to her patients (which is beyond unprofessional and unethical), and if you say anything about your medical history without proof right there, you're lying. (I'm allergic to SSRIs, but she said, "How does she know I'm not lying about that?" Now I make sure I have the hospital visit of my allergic reaction saved on my phone) She pretty much spoke to me like I was a lying, drug seeking hypochondriac even though I DID have documentation for my chronic illness and medication history. I ended up never going back there after she labeled me 'argumentative' for advocating for myself and my health. I have a complex medical history, and I spent over four years and thousands of dollars trying to get answers. So, I'm not going to let a physician who thinks they know better about my own health after two visits put me down or treat me with such disrespect after the hell I've gone through. I'm glad I moved. She also put in my chart I had COPD - which I DON'T. I saw a pulmonary doctor who confirmed this, so even after I told her I don't have COPD, she kept it in there. I have no clue why. I would not recommend it. In the end, I did NOT trust this physician or staff with my care."

"Poorly run office, no communication at all. They are very poor at scheduling appointments, and when you finally get in, you will be waiting for 30 plus minutes. They do not make me feel like my health is a priority to them. Every office line goes to voicemail, in all my years of going there I may have successfully had someone pick up the phone maybe 3 times. No structure, poorly managed, and elderly slow staff. Would not recommend."

"At his Opdyke office years back he prescribed an antibiotic I was allergic too. He said he and his staff were not responsible for a DOCUMENTED allergy, which of course I disagreed. To pay me back... he refused to prescribe my child medicine he said he should have to fight pneumonia he was treating him for also. With this temperament not sure how he has a license. DANGEROUS"

"Dr. Matthew is great person and a doctor. However, whenever his daughter Kristin or anyone else in charge of the office, everything just a mess. When you have an appointment and you make it on time, you’ll be waiting 30 to 50 minutes sometimes just to get in, and that’s totally fine to them. But when you get late 19 minutes which is 15 minutes is the usual wait time for any doctors. You’re not allowed to get in or been seen and have to be rescheduled 3 weeks after. That’s not how you supposed to treat your patients, specially when they’re in need of a refill on their prescriptions and been waiting for long time to get an appointment."

"Dr Kulick is a very nice man however his staff is awful and inept. Cannot correctly write prescriptions, fill out paperwork, and have a demeaning attitude. Kept going here because he was decent, but highly recommend going elsewhere given office help."
