Cass County Medical Care Facility

"My mom is in this facility. They do not give meds in timely manner they do talk with family, my mom can not talk or walk they put food infront of her thet she could not reach which is psychological abuse. They left her in lunch room to watch everyone around her to eat abuse!!! while she had no food and when served she could not eat the food. They do not bring laundry back in a reasonable time. I have hit nurse call light let it go off 15 mins no one came to help. They labeled my mom's clothes with wrong last name so her clothes go missing. This is not a 5 stare facility not everything you see on internet is true! I have seen my mom si unhappy as she us at this facility. It has changed her in just a few short days. I would give 0 stars if it were an option!"

"Horrible staff. Went in for an interview and they stopped me at the door and said all positions were filled earlier that day.Didn’t even interview me nor apologize for wasting my time.(35 min drive and gas wasted) If positions were filled someone should have contacted me and cancelled my interview. They weren’t friendly about it either. Definitely wouldn’t recommend working there. Now I see why the employee turn around rate is so crazy. Ppl start and then quit within a week or don’t even show up for orientation most of the time. You’ll never keep employees acting like that. Luckily I’ve got other jobs lined up! You all are very unprofessional and not very personable."

"My father had to go to the facility for rehab after a hospital stay. I was worried that he wouldn't take it seriously and just want to get home. My father fell in love with the facility, he loves all of the staff and after a few days started going to the many activities that the facility offers. My father is old fashion, stubborn, refuses charity and set in his ways. As his release date approached he called a family meeting and said he wanted to remain at the facility due to the friendly staff. We were shocked by this decision and are working to get tings in place for him to remain at the facility. As for the staff, I'm sure they are overworked and underpaid but you won't see that in the interaction with residents I HIGHLY recommend this facility for both short term rehab and a permanent place to stay. Thanks for all your hard work!!!"
