Reviews of Spectrum Health Medical Group Internal Medicine
"Wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Hill and his team. Dr. Hill provided lots of wonderful education, took time and cared about my health and wellbeing. Thank you for the team for providing excellent care."
"i had my bilateral salpingectomy done here and i had such a wonderful experience. my surgery team was full of kind, patient, and professional people who really went above and beyond to ensure that i felt comfortable and relaxed during my time with them. as someone who suffers from anxiety, this really meant the world to me and made my procedure much less daunting."
"I had chosen a doctor of this practice as my primary care doctor when she was accepting new patients. Granted I’m typically healthy so I had no need to see her for any reason. However I have communicated with the office several times via email on Mychart about health issues and they responded to me as if I was a patient of their practice. I assumed I was a patient. Then my insurance ended on 5/31/22 and I started new coverage. Well turns out they dropped me like a hot potato. When I was sick and needed them the most and I was in communication with them on Mychart and phone (again treating me like I was their patient), they scheduled me a tele health apt. only to turn right back around and cancel it. They told me I wasn’t a patient there, they couldn’t see me and that my doctor was not accepting new patients. I called back and explained how my insurance had recently changed and maybe that’s why I wasn’t showing up in there system currently. She told me no that’s not it and that I could call a number to find a new doctor. I really felt jerked around. I’ve never been a fan of corporate medicine and Spectrum Health you really hit this home today."
"I always make sure to make my appointments before 3p so I can get food at The Calorie Counter (cafe to the right when you walk in). The woman working there is amazing and the food is good too. It's something I look forward to. Otherwise, standard visits have been smooth. No issues with my doctors or care."
"Dr. Litt treats her patients like an assembly line. No, really, she apparently has a 20 minute limit set for each patient. Not great listening skills, does not have great bedside manner (talks over you, doesn't refer to existing notes, brushes most things away and generally does not seem like she cares). Sarah Cook - I went in with something drastic that had happened overnight with my body, something drastic enough that I knew something was wrong. She said it was nothing and "sometimes that can happen". However, upon googling it a few months later, come to find out that it's a symptom of a tumor that we all knew I already had. Had I not know I had that tumor, I would've gone merrily along my way and possibly had it explode. The two were never connected, she simply told me that I'd essentially lost a third of my breast mass on one side overnight for no reason. I will not return to this practice. I've started looking for a new PCP."
