"I must say that Dr. Mehta is the absolute best psychiatrist I've had so far (I've had at least 6) because he listens quite intently, pays attention to what I try to explain to him, & shows that he cares very much by what he prescribes for his patients. He's seen symptoms caused by prescriptions that he's not pleased with, he avoids prescribing them to other patients as much as possible. He's a gifted doctor in many ways & I'm blessed to have him as my psychiatrist."

"I have been a patient of Dr Mehta’s for over 20 years. I trust him more than any other of my doctors. He is genuine, offers advice that is very good, and if you need to be in therapy, he will let you know. I trust him in prescribing my meds. I don’t care if he yawns from time to time, as he is tired. He works like 14 hour days so he can make sure he takes care of his patients. I am thankful he puts that time in for us, his Patients."

"Seems nice and professional, but my last visit took a very sharp turn. Told me that my symptoms are because I looked up the side effects to Zoloft and that since I was getting attention, I acted out more to get more attention. He wouldn’t listen when I told him that these symptoms have been happening since before my meds. Mind you, he said the first time that I saw him that he couldn’t tell if I was just depressed or have bipolar disorder. When asking about my family’s medical history, I told him about my mother’s schizophrenia and he suggested that she was misdiagnosed. He had just met her. I’ve only seen him three times. I felt cornered with judgements from him. Yawns and plays with his shoes while talking or listening to you. Has actually had his shoes off during a session. Like I said, seems nice and professional, but really isn’t."

"Worst doctor I have met yet. He was very rude taking a call from another client sitting there discussing this person issues about suicide and there meds while I was sitting there. Wasted 15 minutes of my time. Basically told me there was nothing wrong with me and that the doctors that diagnosed me with bipolar and manic depression were wrong and was not asking the correct question. Mind you I was diagnosed at the age of 17 and is now 30 and have been getting treated on and off every since. Also when I would try to explain how I felt and why he would tell me I wasn't correct and those weren't the reasons. Mind you this was only my first appointment so he didn't know much about me. He was taking off his shoes and yawning during the whole session and I also felt like he was very judgmental and he made me feel worse than what I did before I walked into the office. I wouldn't advice anyone to go here."
