"I scheduled a physical with Dr.Bavers where she addressed other issues I was having. Instead of billing it as a physical, they decided it was considered a "sick" visit and now I'm being charged by my insurance. The office refuses to change the billing code, even though they never informed me of the change of "visit type." If you want a professional and helpful pcp, go somewhere else. Such a shady practice. Edited to add: Regarding the reply below, I did reach out to this practice. Multiple times. I also discussed the billing with my insurance. This practice refused to help me in any way, contrary to them claiming to "sort things out" as stated below. Again, avoid this place."
