"Rude and very unprofessional. Wish I would have read the other reviews here after checking with my insurance and reading through the website. I was told that there is no one that works there that accepts my insurance and has appointments right now and then she hung up on me. I couldn’t believe she did that. Surely a sign from above to avoid this place. I’ll take my stellar insurance benefits with my 100 annual deductible elsewhere. Update the insurance companies and your website that you’re not accepting new patients and stop wasting peoples time. Seeing as they don’t disclose their rates properly like other people have stated it seems like I dodged a bullet."
"The office staff in this clinic is the most callous, rude, and hurtful "support" staff I have ever encountered. I telephoned to make a new patient appointment and was informed that psychologist was not taking new patients. I simply inquired why this info couldn't be listed on their web site, as severely ill patients spend much time and effort finding help. I was immediately transferred to the office manager, who curtly informed me that she would transfer me again to the vm of the office manager psychologist (and did so before I could even speak). All this for asking a simple question that had a simple answer! I'm crushed and so upset at being treated this way. I'm not sure it would ever be worth having to get past these clueless and unprofessional gatekeepers regardless of who is on the other side of the gate. Rethink your behavior, "ladies"."
"I have had no issues for years with this practice and still don't to this day. Even when they were at a different location. Dr. Dickson and Dr. Mazarra are phenomenal, and before he retired, Dr. Maltz was also amazing, as well as the office staff. I recommend this office."
"Because I knew my insurance was limited I requested the out of pocket cost before I would start therapy. I WAS quoted a price and after seeing Dr. Neal for several months I received an invoice for over $200. When I asked why (since I was paying at EVERY visit) I was told my visits were more than originally QUOTED. I spoke with the office manager who said they do not quote (so now I am a liar). Yes, I did complete the forms but I was told what my part was going to be or otherwise I would not have started treatment at this office. I tried to get Dr. Neal to compromise with the amount and she would not work with me at all. I did report to the Better Business Bureau and have been making payments to their office. I am now receiving a letter in the mail from Dr. Neal each time I make a payment stating that they did not agree to payments and that I need to pay in full. I recently paid $40 and my balance is $60. Three days later I receive a statement saying if I do not pay in full they will be turning over to a collection agency. Really? Unprofessional doesn't say enough. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE."
"The office was fine until Dr. Lujan decided to stop emailing me and returning my phone calls regarding my son. No notice no reason, I even went to the office to leave him a note just in case there was something wrong with his email, still no response. I don't understand how a Psychologist can have a child on medications and not respond to his mother regarding those medications. Thank God for my son's PCP, otherwise he would have no medication. It's been over six months and his office has still neglected to return my calls and emails. I use to recommend this practice to my patients. I will no longer support them because of his negligence."
