Reviews of Michigan Pediatric Therapy
"Magda was very professional and really connected with our 1 month old daughter. Within 8-10 sessions our little one was released from therapy and stronger than ever before. All the muscular issues and bottle feeding issues have been fixed. We highly recommend Magda and her team for your babies needs."
"My son was an OT/craniosacral therapy patient there about a year and a half ago and I feel compelled to write a review after we’ve had positive experiences with a different OT for my children, because people deserve to know the difference between a good provider and a bad one. We were referred to Magda for feeding therapy for my son, but Magda told me (a concerned first time mother at the time), that my three-month old son had low muscle tone and could likely receive a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, that he would require long-term OT (from her, of course), and that he would require the assistance of AFOs or SMOs to stand and “get the experience of” walking. She spent very little time on feeding during our sessions so we were making zero progress, so I switched to a different provider who immediately addressed his feeding issues and he was exactly where he needed to be in just a few sessions. This child was also walking prior to one year and playing soccer by 15 months - no low tone, no SMOs, no long-term therapy. I’ve talked to two other mothers who went to Magda for feeding and were also told their children had low tone and needed -surprise! Lots of therapy from Magda! Look elsewhere for an ethical provider."
"My child attended for several months with Katie as the primary OT. Katie is kind, caring, and responsive to the needs of children. She knew just what to do to get my child talking and participating in the therapy. We will miss her, yet are grateful the care was so excellent that my child is being dismissed. There is so much benefit from attending it’s difficult to pinpoint just one thing. If pressed, I would say “calmer” would be the word to describe my child now. Thank you Katie!"
"Magda and her staff are amazing. When I first brought my infant daughter to see them I was scared and felt lost, from the very first meeting they gave me a sense of comfort that everything my daughter was going through could be addressed and fixed with time. And before I knew it my baby girl was graduating from their program and doing better than I ever imagined. I am so thankful to everyone in that office."
"Magda and her team are extremely intuitive, detail oriented and compassionate, giving individualized care to each child and truly listening to parents. We brought our newborn here prior to a lip and tongue tie revision and Magda instantly instilled confidence in me that we were taking the right steps and that she was the one to help us move forward after the revision. Being able to receive feeding therapy, craniosacral and OT all at the same office was such a blessing. Also being able to use our insurance was a huge help. My baby and I went on to have a wonderfully successful breastfeeding relationship. He excelled physically thanks to the OT therapy, he needed it after his rough delivery. I wouldn’t have seen the things Magda saw and addressed, and neither did my pediatrician. So thankful we ended up in her office!"
