As someone with extreme anxiety, Nancy immediately made me feel comfortable. You can tell that she truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen to understand & goes at that pace that works best for you. She is also great with children & has lots of tools & resources to accommodate all different needs. "Told my daughter I was wrong, multiple times, and when we weren’t on the same page she called her and said she wouldn’t see her anymore. Didn’t see us for a session, didn’t talk to us before, just dropped that bomb after years of Thearpy. To my kid over the phone. I hated how she put our child against us. Would not recommend if you’re trying to work WITH a Thearpist as she will TELL your child that she’s right and the parents are wrong. Expensive, horrible, service. Always look up reviews before you dedicate your child to seeing someone to help them with their insecurities. She was a recommendation and I wish I did my own research before I took that chance on my daughter. She broke her. Would never recommend her."

"Her recommendations/diagnosis are easily manipulated by outside influences, will turn on you in an instant, can't trust her. She will bill you for services not disclosed to you prior to performing them and not approved by the insurance company and then demands cash payment when insurance won't pay. She resigned from Oakland Psychological Clinic in Grand Blanc, MI to start her own business called Brighter Visions Therapy also in Grand Blanc, MI. I sought Nancy Gorelick out for help and instead it caused severe pain and anguish for my family and I - stay clear of Nancy Gorelick and her counseling services no matter what business name she operates under. Update to the owner's reply on 8/24/22: I discussed this issue with Nancy Gorelick and her billing staff several times. I carry good insurance through BCBS and instead of resolution, I received resistance, attitude, and threats of being referred to a collection agency for services Nancy Gorelick billed. Several sessions per day and even per week were being billed against my approval and when BCBS wouldn't cover these due to their policy of not having multiple sessions per day and week which I understood, I was forced to pay out-of-pocket or face ruining my credit. Absolutely a waste of time, money, and this experience created so many more issues - fair warning, avoid at all costs!"
