"I found Mary to be one of the most ethical therapists I have ever met. When it came to discussing private information with me that my husband would have shared she always was upfront and told me she couldn't cross a boundary when it came to sharing privileged information. I respected that! Also when it came to insurance billing she was never willing to do anything that could be perceived as unethical. She followed the rules of the insurance company because she didn't want to live with an untruth. She gave excellent feedback, and was always fair and managed to help us find middle ground during marital counseling. I credit her with being a major influence in saving our marriage. I didn't always like what I heard but we shouldn't see therapists to only validate our feelings. I couldn't thank her enough for what she did for our family. I'd see her again."

"She is unprofessional and without ethics. She actually asked my wife to lie to my daughter about a visit from my wife to give some background in relation to my daughter. We had been working for over a year to convince her to see a christian based counselor. My wife explicitly told her not to force God on her in any way, that the time would come when that would be appropriate. We live 100% by christian virtues and wanted someone who would be trustworthy in their approach that centered on Christ. We did not want to worry about secular ideals when working with my daughter. Well, she totally blew that right out of the water when during the first meeting she could do nothing but try and force God down her throat. The wall we had torn down in relation to Christianity has now been rebuilt and my daughter will not now even consider a christian counselor. If you were not going to listen to anything my wife said during her interview with you, why did you even have my wife come in? We struggle to pay our utilities each and every month and the money we gave to you to have the interview with my wife was considerable to us. I will have to come up with money from somewhere to pay one of our bills now. Maybe you do not understand that to pay the amount we did involves a trade off. To give it to you means it has to come from somewhere else and that will be an agreement with a utility company for a payment plan so we do not get a disconnect notice. I do not mind sacrificing for my daughter (that is what parents do) but to sacrifice in vain is unacceptable."
