"Selina is such an amazing therapist. She has been encouraging me through my cancer journey and doing the DBT program with her has really helped me grow and better my mental health."
"I can only say POSITIVE things about Adolescent & Family Behavioral Heath Services! From the highly community decorated owner to her caring staff, I have personally witnessed great listening skills, professionalism and a true heart for clients. This organization does so much in the community too- from helping with their basic client needs like working and volunteering for food drives, to providing collaborative efforts with other organizations to educate clients and the community. Mental Health is hard work, there are a lack of therapist available and services, I am thankful for this place, it is a blessing!"
"i was seeing Henry muller for over a year. At first things were good, but recently I felt like I wasn’t getting intentional responses, just felt like he was plugging key words into a formula and spitting out whatever generic response came to mind. At some point, he made a promise he couldn’t keep. When I called him on it, he used that as a good time to suggest that we end our therapy sessions. I was visibly distraught, emotional, and expressing that I was unwell and didn’t feel safe with myself. Nevertheless, he insisted I had made progress and even suggested going without therapy for a while… after I told him I WASN‘T WELL. the whole experience was extremely jarring and triggering. I emailed him to express myself and got yet another generic response, thanking me for my feedback and giving links to agencies I could have found myself with a light google search. Not sure about other therapists there, but I recommend, if you choose to go with this counseling center, you avoid Henry Muller."
"saw one of the therapists for about a year, and then was dropped indirectly when was admitted in the hospital. had to find out from a doctor before discharge, just to find out i was being dropped for issues that weren’t current. the dbt group was great, however would not recommend seeing them one-on-one. horrible place to go if you’re seeking long-term help. (1+ year(s))"
"My rating can simply be explained by one of the other reviewers talking about his charges on his credit card. Did you see the owners response? *Editing to add information* It's the fact of simple customer service. No apologizing, just straight defense. This is a clinic that is supposed to specialize in illnesses that most other professionals have no clue about. The owner is rude. She takes everything personal. She was wonderful in her DBT class. I'll give her that. She attacks with every complaint. Very defensive. She obviously does not practice what she preaches. A lot of the therapists are that way. It seems as if it's just a job to them, which makes it hard for people to get better. I'll be awaiting her response again."
