Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy Jenison

"I told the team there I would write a review whenever I get released back into the wild, and 6 months later here we are. I'm not sure where to even start, there's to much to say. But 1 thing is for sure, there isn't a better PT team out there. The team at Hulst Jepsen in Jenison is nothing short of amazing and incredible. I came to them after a major motorcycle wreck which left me with almost no motion or usability in my left shoulder, and a ACL injury. I was struggling to do day to day activities and walk. It was a rough place to be for me, especially for how much of a active I am. The first time i met with Grant and had my evaluation, he asked me what a goal was for me and something I wanted to aim for. I told him I wanted to be able to ride a motorcycle in the spring and be able to workout in the gym again. He told me if I put In the work and we worked together I'd get there. Fast forward 6 months and here I am. Able to ride a motorcycle and just been cleared to get back in the gym. Grant is an incredible PT. Easy to talk to, loves questions and always does his best to get you where you want to be. He's just as eager to see progress as his patients are If not more so. I'm not sure who was more excited to see me get full motion back in my shoulder. Courtney (1) is always cheerful and singing and laughing. She never fails to say hi or ask how you're doing. But don't let that fool you, she's as feisty as they come. I loved having conversations with her, especially when it was about picking on Grant while there's needles in my back. Not sure he enjoyed it but we always did. Alyssa never missed asking me how I'm doing, how's life going, and most importantly asking about my dog at home. Whenever I got the chance to work with her I think we talked more about dogs and treadmills then anything else. With the occasional boy story. Rachel was 1 of 2 techs that were with me from day 1 till my last appointment. I'm pretty sure she was the first person to get me to talk and laugh as I was not a happy person having to be there. I mean was it because she told me to get bigger arms? Yes yes it was. But that's besides the point, she got me talking. And since then she was nothing but helpful and encouraging through the process. And always made sure I was doing okay if I seemed down or stressed. Courtney (2) Was the 2nd tech that was there on my first day and has worked with me the past 6 months. I don't even know where to start with her. I'd say she's sassy but she'll just say she's got good leadership skills and make me do more wall sits. I don't think there was 1 appointment where we didn't argue, she didn't make me answer the question of the day, or without her reminding me I went SPLAT on the pavement in my accident. She loved using that word. I never thought I'd ever enjoy physical therapy, let alone be sad it's done. But Hulst Jepsen really makes a point to connect with their clients and builds relationships with them that are memorable. I definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for physical therapy, you won't regret it. I mean sure, they have a slight obsession with cows but it could be worse. Thanks for getting me back on my feet. I really appreciate it."
