"I moved houses and switched OBs i wanted to go to beaumont instead of st. John. I hated the hospital but loved my OB. I always had the same OB for appts and to deliver both my girls. When I switched here I was told they schedule me with whomever is available since they don't know who will deliver my baby. I don't like being switched around as I don't get to know any of the doctors. I also told them I wanted a female doctor to deliver they said they only had a few males so the chances of getting one was slim. Well my c-section ended up having to be moved later because the day it was supposed to be scheduled there was a male doctor. I understand there's no way to control that but after being told my chances were slim it was very disappointing to have my c-section scheduled even later when I am already so miserable being pregnant. Dr. Chae makes me feel like im extremely depressed because I'm not super chipper and I answer her questions with a simple direct answer because I don't know her what else would she like me to say?. I also went to the triage once for strong contractions 4 nights in a row (the office sent me) I was released and went to my next OB appt. They told me they need to swab me for strep b. I told them no I already tested positive. Dr Chaes response was oh we don't read all the notes from the hospital... I went to the triage again for a horrible headache and high BP (they sent me).My BP went down, they gave me meds for the headache, I was better and was released. The dr I saw the day after this said if I had another high reading I would probably deliver earlier than my scheduled c section. And offered me the meds the hospital had given me including the prescription one. I turned it down as my headache was back but not horrible. A few days later I went to my next appt. My headache was bad once again, my blood pressure was elevated and I asked Dr. Yoon about the meds I was offered by the last doctor. He said, it was a, b, c, I said yes I know. those are all over the counter I can get those. He said anything else would be stronger and we try to stay away from anything stronger. So as long as you can push through the headache you can make it to your scheduled c-section. They had me wait to take my bp again Dr. Yoon said if its good then I can go if its not then they'll run tests... what happened to delivering early if it were high again and why was it okay to get the meds before but not now?? No one should have to stay miserable for a month with a headache. Especially with getting elevated readings more than once and protein of 52. I dont like this place. I dont feel well taken care of and I dont think they communicate well with each other. They clearly don't read notes from hospitals, and none of them are on the same page. I once again have a horrible headache that I am throwing up from. I called the after hours number told the lady my issue and that I am supposed to be checking my bp but even though its low (135/93) I need to know what to do for this awful headache. Since I took all the over the counter meds im supposed to and I still have it. Her response was thats your urgent concern? Yes, I think a headache that I've had since December 31st thats now making me throw up is urgent. I guess they thought otherwise cause I haven't received a call back. I can't wait to have my baby so I don't ever have to deal with this place again."
