"I cannot recommend Dr. Boyd due to my own experience. She is too busy to give the proper care each woman deserves during such a sensitive time. I had an emergency cesarean and she wanted me out of the hospital the next day because I wasn't vaccinated. I was in a great deal of pain and the hospital nurses were surprised that she behaved this way and recommend that I stay for longer. Each time I came in for an appointment I was harassed to have a COVID vaccination by her and I declined each time. She is not empathetic and support is a must during pregnancy and birth. Please, find someone who will give you the respect that you deserve."

"Dr. Boyd is the best human being that my sister and I've met in 2023. She helped my sister from day 1 to until after the delivery, and her staff is the best of all. She makes sure to address everything during appointment visits, ultrasounds went great, and she answered all questions that we felt we needed the answers of urgently. Her nurses are great, and she arrived at the hospital for labor on time and made sure it's a smooth and great experience. If she feels the need of baby's anatomy and any important health reminders, she'll alert you on them and is just awesome. Thank you from both of us for everything you've done for my sister and her smooth delivery experience."

"I would recommend that anyone seeking care read through these reviews with care. I am uncomfortable with the exchange I had with the doctor, and deeply disappointed in the experience I had with the office staff. I had a surgery scheduled with Dr. Boyd and cancelled as I would not be comfortable entrusting my care with them. I would not, in good conscience, recommend this office to another person without offering additional considerations. Context: * I found Dr. Boyd through a Reddit forum of OBGYN providers who believe in the autonomy of their patients and will perform sterilization procedures without the usual fight (already having kids/needing husband permission/35+/long psyche eval etc.). * I am not seeking pregnancy help, so I was not concerned about the attention and care that a pregnant woman would expect from their provider (evident in prev. reviews) - I was simply looking for a doctor to perform the standard yearly exams and to complete this one procedure. I saw the reviews about bedside manner but ultimately took the chance, as my needs were simple. * Dr. Boyd's office offers a medical records portal, online forms, and e-sign-in that is not set up nor formatted correctly which lends better to delay patient experience, not convenience it. It would work wonderfully for their offices if someone would simply *do* the set up. * Despite there being a medical portal, they still email you HIPAA forms via gmail, but will not return emails sent to the same address. * My experience was that the administrative staff regarded my presence as an intrusion, my questions as an annoyance, and any concerns, dismissively. (Though the nurse who drew blood was professional and personable.) * Dr. Boyd's office answering service does not take messages and there are several times during the day where the phone never picks up. * Dr. Boyd's offices did not call with any test results or explanation and the 'results posted' to the portal are brief and without context. * Dr. Boyd will introduce herself to you as someone who is 'loud and boisterous' and who 'doesn't always suit everyone' and, while bedside manner wasn't the biggest concern of mine, she should take into consideration the vulnerability of their patients - especially new clients - before making offhanded comments or facetious remarks about an individuals' body as they sit there, naked, on a table. Or worse - actively within stirrups. * Dr. Boyd did not open the floor to discuss other sterilization options besides the one I came in with, despite my inquiry. * My surgery consent form was a grainy photocopy of a photocopy of a form with typos. It is 2023 - you want me to let you cut open my body when you can't be bothered to operate a PDF? No. I will find another doctor. Exercise caution and review the testimonials to decide what level of comfort you have in pursuing this physician further. This was far too many strikes for me."

"I was incredibly well cared for by Dr. Boyd and her staff with prenatal care as well as labor and delivery. Dr. Boyd is as smart as they come! This allows her to be confident and direct in rendering advice, but she is also very easy to talk to and and is genuinely caring in her nature. It made me feel that me and my baby couldn't have been in better hands. I also appreciated that she took the time to be thorough with results even if they were unconcerning. It never felt like I was doing tests or treatments unnecessarily because everything was combed over and well explained. The staff are a friendly group of professional women and they keep things there running efficiently. The clinic itself is clean, nicely updated and inviting. My experience here was everything I could have possibly wanted and more."
