"I found Dr. Vilkins through a colleague and she was very kind and knowledgeable though she did not listen to my reason for wanting my procedure. She did a biopsy to qualify me for my procedure, but never looked at the results. As such, she did not reflex me to Gynecological Oncology or have slides of organ taken, as she should. I had to have additional procedures and another surgery. It was an additional nine months of procedures and I still do not know everything over 15 months later. I tried to contact HFHS about the experience and was brushed off. Michigan Medical Law are very protective unless the patient is rendered hemiplegic, paraplegic, or quadriplegic."
