"I’ve been seeing Dr. Powell for over 15 years. She delivered my daughter and I always had a good experience except for the long waits to be seen. I have been having too frequent of periods (every two weeks)and it has been so hard to get into the doctor to see her. It took 3 months to get into see her due to heavy bleeding and their far out appointments. One day before my appointment (less than 12 hrs before my appointment) they called me and told me that they no longer take my insurance. After 15+ years that’s how they treat me … so so disheartening and unprofessional. So long comprehensive women’s health"

"I scheduled an appointment at five weeks pregnant with my first child. The office very kindly informed me that it would be best to wait a few weeks, which I totally expected. After that first call I felt really good about my decision to go with this office. Unfortunately, that all changed very quickly. At just over six weeks, I started bleeding heavily. I decided to go to the emergency room where they ran some tests and did an ultrasound and diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage. They required I get a second beta blood draw done in 48 hours to find out for sure. The E.R. doctor said he would send all my test results and information over to this office so that I could go there to do the second test and get checked out in a more comfortable environment. The following day, I called Comprehensive Women’s Health to explain what had happened and ask for an earlier appointment. Not only was I VERY rudely interrupted mid sentence, but I was told the E.R. never sent over any of my records so my appointment could not be moved. She then told me that she would call the E.R. and ask them to resend my information. I thanked her and hung up. She then called me back to tell me the hospital told her that they didn’t have a record of me being there the previous evening. I was shocked and immediately called the hospital myself, where I was told that no one had ever called about me. The lady from the emergency department very kindly told me to tell my ob office to ask for her directly and she would happily send over my records. I call the ob office back to tell them and she says she will call me back. She never bothered to. I waited by the phone all day for that call scared and unsure what to do. I called again nearly eight hours later to find out if they ever got my test records sent over and she claimed that she left me a voicemail (she never did) but that they still wouldn’t be able to move my appointment any earlier. The blatant lies and disrespect at this office was truly astonishing. They clearly did not care one bit about me or my baby."

"I have been coming to this office since I found out that I was pregnant with my second child, and would just like to say that I am absolutely amazed. Dr. Powell is an amazing person who will address any questions or concerns that you may have, and she will expain everything in a way that you can understand. Along with that, the staff makes you feel like you are apart of their team and always makes sure that you know what they are doing and what the next step is (which, in my opinion is very important to the patient) Mary Ann, the receptionist, is one of my favorite people to see! She is so happy, bubbly, caring and just a spectacular woman. I wish that I could give this office more than 5 stars because they truly deserve it!!! Thank you so much for everything ladies! You're all the best! I recommend this office to anyone!"

"I started going to Dr Powell when I found out I was pregnant. She is amazing. She studied my chart and history prior to my first visit and was able to ask questions that made me feel very comfortable that she took the time to get to know me. I feel totally comfortable with her at all of my appointments and very excited and feel safe about her delivering my first born very soon! I love the office staff too! MaryAnn is a hoot and one of my faves!! I look forward to seeing her bubbly personality when I first arrive. I highly recommend!"
