"I had to find to find an obgyn after mine retired. After seeing Dr. Yancy, she was suppose to call in 2 scripts on a thurs. She didn't do it and the office is impossible to get in contact with. The scheduling dept sent her multiple messages. Finally 2 week later she answered the phone and said she was on vacation for a week. So I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I had a procedure and she went upstairs to see clients while I was prepped for surgery. That was weird. They had to track her down when I was ready. After going back for more testing she never called me with results and I just found another. She is very unprofessional. I have never had a doctor I couldn't reach."

"Update 1 month later, they are still trying to figure out why my insurance was never billed. I was told my insurance would cover everything more than once and now I'm having serious problems. I'm extremely stressed out over this. I've left a voice-mail and hopefully will hear back. The girl who works the front desk is amazing. She kept me calm and talked me down from a horrible day. She even gave me a doctors note to give to my boss. Dr Yancy was wonderful! I didn't realize until a few days after my appointment that I didn't get done nearly as much as I was supposed to because I wasn't seen for almost a full hour after arriving. So I will need to call back and schedule another appointment. I was supposed to get blood work to check for ovarian cancer and the one nurse kept asking me why I needed blood work in a very unfriendly demanding way. I didn't know I needed bloodwork but I was told I needed a full work up, shouldn't she have known what the blood work would be for? But she was not friendly at all and I didn't write about her because the other two women I interacted with were absolutely lovely, but thinking back on my appointment now I'm frustrated with how she treated me and again interfered with my care."

"This is my first pregnancy and after reading exceptional reviews about Dr. Yancy, I decided to make an appointment. I was so nervous to even go to an ob, but I know it was something I have to do. One important factor I was looking for before even setting up an appointment was if I could see this doctor really delivering my baby. I did a lot of research and came across doctor Yancy. So far, I've only had one appointment with her and from that ONE appointment, I could tell so much about her. She is such a genuine person and makes you feel so comfortable. After visiting her that one time, I told my husband "Dr. Yancy is definitely the doctor I can see delivering our baby". Let's not forget how nice the staff is. I was so nervous and the nurse put me at ease. I felt like she was talking to a friend when she told me "it's okay just calm down". The staff is very reassuring and it is a great environment to be around. I HIGHLY recommend Doctor Yancy and her staff for expecting mothers/parents. You will definitely not be disappointed.
