"Saw a doctor at associates of northern indiana for intense heavy cramps (most likely endometriosis) and all she did was put me on a generic birth control. 2 months into the pill I am having crazy side effects even suicidal thoughts. When I called the office to get in there and get on a different program because one clearly wasn’t working the nurse I was speaking with told me to keep taking the pills even though it is causing me to have suicidal thoughts because i just wasn’t “adjusted” to it yet. I am sorry but I will never continue to take a pill that makes me suicidal because I “need to adjust” chances are if it hasnt been working out the past 2 months its not going to suddenly work in a few weeks. With hundreds of treatment options out there then being told to keep doing a treatment that is unsafe for my wellbeing makes it seem like this practice is lazy and would rather see their patients disappear than help them"
