"I followed Dr. Thalia when she left her previous practice & came to OBGYN & Associates. She’s a very caring Dr and makes you feel heard and comfortable. I’ve now had the pleasure of her being my OB for my two babies and for regular gynecological health. I have nothing but positive things to say about her & her caring soul. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit longer to see her- but she’s worth the wait & takes time with each and every one of her patients."

"12/10.. I have been chair and bed ridden for 5 weeks and bounced between all doctors and specialist only to learn this is all OB related. I also was told by my pain specialist to cancel my hysterectomy and now that we know I need it urgently, I am being scolded like a child for canceling on a Doctor recommendation within South Bend Clinic. Apparently speaking to one another and continuity of care is absent. If I could give negative starts for Dr. Evangelista, I would. Having worked with her at Memorial many moons ago, I was okay with her being my on call physician as I am currently at St. Joe Hospital with acute pain that is not subsiding even after surgery. Keep in mind I was sent here by this office FOR UNCONTROLLABLE PAIN. My surgery didn’t show issues with my reproductive organs but my back pain is EXCRUCIATING still. After begging the nurse to call Dr. Evangelista back for more pain relief meds because she forgot to order them right after my surgery which was the whole reason for me staying overnight in the hospital is to control pain, he put her on speakerphone so she could talk to me and understand my level of pain and she literally attributed it all being in my head- also known as she’s just mentally making this up being crazy. What I find so interesting is that Dr. Baumgartner, who is the one that supposed to be performing my actual surgery later in December nd is the only doctor that I have had multiple conversations with with a full-time line of of my events, told me that it’s NOT OK to be in pain and it’s OK to tell your doctor your pain and it’s OK to work with them. So, being dismissed as a mentally ill patient is ridiculous- really she is just stigmatizing my depression and anxiety to ease her workload. I can completely understand that surgery did not show a cause my pain OBGYN related, but the fact for this doctor, to dismiss me so quickly, without working with any other doctor is punitive towards a patient and downright cruel, and against their oath they take to do no harm."

"With my first baby the experience was definitely a 9/10 with this establishment. With this pregnancy I have never felt more unwelcome and humiliated. The greeting staff, one in particular consistently has an attitude and is very nasty towards me. I wasn't informed prior to my first nurse's appointment they do not allow partners back due to Covid restrictions. I called ahead and was not warned, my partner was very upset. I have to call before every visit to be sure they will now allow my toddler back with me, although they've been informed multiple times I am a stay at home mom. I don't always have the extra help. Today I cried during my visit for the way I was treated. I had car trouble and attempted to call ahead twice. No one answered. If I absolutely didn't love the doctors and ultrasound techs here, I would never return. ***Update*** I spoke to the office manager and was humiliated ONCE AGAIN. She made excuse after excuse for the behavior of her staff. If you're a woman of color do NOT come to this office. After my next ultrasound I will not be returning."

"Dr.Zhao and Dr.mcguire are pretty great, especially Dr.Zhao he makes jokes and makes sure you're comfortable and not so nervous. I've only had 3 of the doctors there so far. The one they've been sticking me with Dr.byrne makes everything uncomfortable, I had an appointment today and had tons of questions but Dr.Byrne and the nurse were in such a rush that I didn't get to ask all the questions that I had. I'm 32 weeks Friday and haven't once been told what my baby measures at so whenever people ask me I'm just stumped on the question and they're in so much of a rush when I see them that I never get the chance to ask. This is my first pregnancy and not being able to have my mom and or my significant other with me at appointments is upsetting especially when I hear from so many friends and family members that are pregnant get to have someone with them at every appointment. I asked to switch giving birth from st.joe to memorial because some of my family and friends that gave birth at memorial were able to have 2 support people which is helpful because I need my mom there she's the only one that can help me through the anxiety and pain and at st.joe they're only allowing 1 support person which in that case I could only have the babies father/my significant other there but when I asked what I have to do to switch memorial Dr.Byrne told me that it could be possible that memorial changes back to 1 support person by the time I give birth. How is that fair? So many people I know were able to have the birth and support people they wanted and need but there's a chance I might not be able to?"
