"The Winter Marketplace is a fun place to visit. I went with 6 ladies, and most of us made purchases. The crafters were great to talk to."

"Our class reunion was held at the opera house in Howell. Wood floors and bricked walls make this a perfect venue for small events."

"This is a very nice place for a bridal shower. The only drawback is that since it is in the downtown Howell area there is not a lot of close by parking."

"I hope they are able to restore this historic site. The performance we attended (Heywood Banks - - our favorite comedian) was in an open room about 75 by 50 feet. It would hold 200 to 300 people. The acoustics were disappointing as we couldn't here the performance between very well between songs. I think that it was partly that Heywood Banks was not close enough to the microphone and partly that I was in the back of the room. A better microphone would have solved the problem. The owners of the building are very friendly and helpful. They greeted us at the door and found a way to let in other people in my group who had to arrive separately."

"This place has character! My brother held his wedding reception here, and the venue was perfect for the occasion! The acoustics make it difficult to hold meetings (unless you use their sound equipment) so I would recommend a visit in advance if you plan to do any type of meeting/speaking/etc. I would recommend this venue for special occasions."
