"This is a great place and great music, but the "ticketing fee" is a big turn-off. If there is no way to avoid the fee and if it's charged per ticket rather than per order, then you should just say the ticket is $54 dollars, say, instead of $50. The cost of the ticket should cover the ticket--good grief--what else is it for? I've wanted to purchase tickets for events at SCMC, but do not want to encourage this shady practice. Just because much-loathed Ticketmaster does it doesn't mean you need to. Most of the classical music events in GR either do not charge this fee at all, or it can be avoided by purchasing tickets in person. Even if there were an extra fee for using a credit card, that would be fine and justifiable; but a fee for the sake of a fee is not okay."
"Love this place! I’ve been to so many concerts here, and played in the youth philharmonic orchestra in high school. So many memories! Wish they’d find some way to fix the parking situation though!"
"Absolutely the best venue for music in West Michigan. The acoustics are flawless, and the elegance of the facility unmatched."
"We had our wedding ceremony and reception at St. Cecilia. It is such a beautiful and special venue. We loved our experience with St. Cecilia and staff. Nadine was very kind and helpful!"
"Beautiful and intimate venue for live music. Attended a concert by the incomparable Chris Thile. He even walked in front of the mic and played a few songs without any amplification. A special experience that was allowed by the acoustics is the room. Reception and free drinks afterwards was a nice touch."
