"Came here for an ultrasound after a previous loss. Of course I’m incredibly nervous. My husband and I forgot our masks and they would only give me one and told him he had to go buy one at the gas station. I started hyperventilating and crying at the thought of going into the ultrasound room without him but was told just to wait and he would be back. No one offered me a tissue or allowed me to wait in another area. I saw my baby’s heartbeat for the first time without my husband because of a stupid mask when they had a full box in their office. I’m very disappointed in this office."

"Most capable, efficient, FRIENDLY, compassionate and well run doctors offices in Holland. They are never too busy to call with lab results. Have been a patient for many years. Wish the rest could learn from the example Dr. Gerard and staff set."

"I was about 32 weeks pregnant with my first child when I moved back from out of state and they got me in right away. We tried induction about a week before due date because I had gestational diabetes. After 24 hours I had not progressed. He said we could take a break and try again or we could do a c section. he did not pressure or try to presuade. we decided on csection and everything went as planned. almost 3 years have gone by and we have moved even further away yet when I became pregnant again there was no question, I was going back to Dr. Gerard. And then we went to our first ultrasound and there wasnt a heartbeat. It was Dr Gerard's day off but he called me after reviewing the ultrasound. He assured me there was nothing I did or could have done and we discussed options. Because I was 9 weeks along and had to symptoms and have a demanding job, I opted for a d & c. He is so compassionate and patient and objective and everything you could want from a Dr. Honorable mention to Josie at the front desk, south office. After my post d & c appt, she asked if I needed to schedule another appt and I said not until I am pregnant again and started tearing up and she asked if she could give me a hug. Highly recommend Dr. Gerard and Obgyn associates of Holland."

"I had my first appointment this morning and I have to bring my two young boys with me (2 and 4), my boys are a little loud and like to run around but my husband works so I have to do this with my boys. The lady at the front desk yelled at my boys and said they couldn't run and okay I get that and I do understand that, but tell me not my boys. I tried to keep them under control but they don't like to sit still, the office isn't kid friendly which it should have a few things for kids knowing that it's an Obgyn office. My youngest son started climbing onto the highest barstool chair to sit on the desk and I already got him down a few times and the last time she comes charging out and grabs him and puts him in a chair and he wouldn't stay so she put him back in, I think it's rediculous the way she handled the issue with my kids, she must not have any kids or know how kids do act sometimes because she was very fed up with my children. I was trying to do paperwork and I have never had an office do this before. The last Obgyn office was so kid friendly they even told me it's not a problem and that they have kids here all the time so they are used to kids. This lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and rude. After she touched my son I got up and gave her my paperwork and told her I was leaving because I have kids and I have to bring them to appointments and there's no other way around this. I said I'll be going elsewhere. Maybe their staff should be a little bit more kid friendly."
