"Just outdated... Besides for that I spent significant time here while working from out of town and it was always clean, great service, and affordable."

"The first issue I had was a very crabby check in receptionist. When I was trying to clarify that I booked and paid online she began to over talk me and almost demanded a deposit. Once in my room I noticed that there wasn’t a place to hang my coat and the blow dryer in the bathroom did not work. The bed needed a comforter all that was provided was a sheet and very thin blanket. The room was dingy and the walls had several cracks and paint marks. In the bathroom the air vent had a hole which gave me the feeling that I was being watched. The shower was the nicest part. But again that vent gave me bad vibes. Happy I wasn’t staying here alone. Would I recommend this hotel? …not really but if you are looking for something cheap just to get through a night this is your place."

"We stayed here for a week while our roof was repaired. I did not enjoy the stay to say the least. The rooms are tired and dingy, and the bed was lumpy. The staff was hit or miss, sometimes they were completely nice and pleasant and at other times they were completely horrible."

"They helped us out after our power outage. You average budget hotel. Strange odor downstairs and no snacks in the vending. Coffee maker in the room was nice and they have a microwave. Room was clean but the place needs a makeover. Lots of road noise from Beckley. The front desk was super helpful and we liked our stay."
