Quality Inn Chesterton near Indiana Dunes National Park I-94

"It blows my mind they don’t have 5 stars when they absolutely deserve it. The rooms are extremely clean, it’s quiet, it’s in a convenient location, but what really makes us want to come back is how absolutely wonderful the staff are. Every single person we came into contact with at the hotel was so sweet, and they were very, very kind to my son. He felt right at home, and was excited to come back here (this is our second time here). We stayed at Comfort inn before, and it just wasn’t as nice. It was dirtier, and the staff were less friendly. The beds were uncomfortable and smaller, and it had a very musty smell. The only upside was the pool, but it’s an easy trade off. Thank you so much to everyone who made our visit over Christmas so special! We won’t be staying anywhere else when we visit our family. The only thing I’ll mention is that the door to 105 kept having issues with the keycard. I’m not sure why, but it wasn’t that big of a deal since it was a quick & easy fix. We didn’t have that issue in the last room we stayed in, so I’m thinking the door to 105 is just having issues."

"Check in was easy. The person at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, shower was hot, and bed was comfortable."

"Hotel has been completely painted and new carpeting and beds. The front desk lady was a little odd, it felt like she kept staring at us walking back and forth through the lobby. There was no swimming pool, but that was our error, not checking that first."

"Like no breakfast and what was there was missing or expired. Room was hard to enter and half the lights did not work. Towels contained some weird stains. Staff seemed nice, great location. Bible in our room as dirty and dusty and wrong location, but I cleaned it to best of my ability and put it in proper location. The wifi did not work. The shower head could use some love, also it screams when one changes the settings. However beds were soft and to my liking, for people who like firm beds , this is not the hotel for you. Some weird smells in areas of building. Decent,besides breakfast."
