"Being that it's the only movie theater in town, it does the gob. BUT is old, chairs are old. Needs updating."

"I didn't go, but I have Many other times! Ever since I moved back in the 80's after the younger owners bought it and split it into a multiplex, they have done a Great job keeping it a float and providing Cheboygan county with a Movie theater for Entertainment for Everybody. It's sad that the community really doesn't support it better by going and seeing movies more often. I applaud the people operating it for all their efforts, and I Appreciate them being there!!!"

"We came for a matinee movie and enjoyed the show. The staff were very nice and the popcorn delicious. The Kingston Theatre has great bones. It also needs the community's support though volunteers and maintenance to shine. Though fund raising and local support of manpower and monetary donations Kingston Theatre future as a gem of Cheboygan is certain. Look to other communities that have saved thier local movies theaters and ask for advice. Start with the movie theater in Manistee, MI. They've done it you can too. "We love getting popcorn from here! All the snacks are delicious, and the theater seats are comfy. The theater itself needs some updates (it's an old building and could use a helping hand), so support the theater by attending more movies so we can see some improvements to this historical structure!"

"I enjoyed the small town atmosphere with little nostalgic touches hearkening to a bygone era. It is really nice to see a theater that reminds me of those I visited as a child. Bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The showing room was similarly clean. Popcorn was very good, some of the best I've ever had. Really enjoyed the entire experience!"
