"I checked in on a Friday, it is now Sunday evening room service has not come to the room to ask if we needed clean sheets, tissue and towels! I called up at the desk 5times and each time the manager hangs up! Walked up there to the front desk and no one is there! When picking up the lobby phone a man answer from a different number outside of the main lobby and had to go wait 45 minutes before some walked in from outside! The man behind the desk after he entered smelt like straight alcohol and words was slurring. I complained and still haven’t got what I need. Other than that it’s cheap right across the street from McDonald’s, Big lots, Burger King, Meijer sand other stores"

"Way worse then red roof across the street they got roaches there place needs to be shut down. Dint recommend anyone stay there!!"

"All I can say is wow... Terrible experience and we hadn't even stepped into a room yet. Had booked a room and was told everything was good to go. Then upon arrival get told all of a sudden there is a 200 dollar deposit. I have a service dog for cardiac alert and was told he was the reason. My mother had went inside to ask why there was all of a sudden a deposit... the owner proceeded to scream at my elderly mom.Reported this place to Wyndham and the ADA for discrimination."

"Arrived at this location on a Thursday and at first I had a few reservations about the place because I have read the previous reviews, but since arriving here I haven't seen a single roach or a single bed bug. The room was surprisingly really clean. ... And I mean really clean.. I even did a thorough check before I even let my fiance even bring our stuff in because I have a PTSD association myself with roaches and bed bugs and not a single one insight.... And I personally know from dealing with them years ago what signs to look for even in a motel room... There are none here My only complaints are that the AC didn't really work properly and we have a few warm days coming up and it looked like their pool was closed, and that the main door to our room couldn't deadbolt because the mechanism wasn't put on properly. And there's a bit of a step getting in and out of the room. The upsides were we had a main Wi-Fi router in our room and the speed was absolutely amazing for Comcast... The person who checked us in was really nice. Even thanked my fiance for his service as he is in military veteran, we're going to be extending our stay here because it's cheaper than going back to the motel we were at... That other place like to price gouge, especially around the Notre Dame game And it's kind of a plus that we're only 15 minutes away from the beach over at lake Michigan And also comparative to the other reviews here. They must have gotten a new owner within the past few weeks... Cuz this place is actually decently priced for the location. Unfortunately this wasn't for business or vacation. It was out of necessity. We had to stay in a motel due to personal events that happened in our lives My fiance and I even found it funny that we got the same room number as our previous hotel to me that was a sign that things in our lives were about to get better and it's thanks to this motel Thank you, Travelodge"

"Do not stay here. It's not a motel so much as a transitional housing development. We were on a road trip looking for a moderately priced place to stay in Benton Harbor. We paid over $120 for a room at this Travel Lodge because we thought it would be a safe bet. We've stayed at Travel Lodges all over the country and never had a problem until now. When we arrived their were people dealing drugs in the parking lot and eyeballing our vehicle. The television didn't work and the room was very dirty. Ultimately my husband asked the manager to change rooms and he complied. We moved to a room in the front of the building which felt safer. This room didn't have any blankets on the beds and the fire alarm had been disconnected. The swimming pool is not operational even though the website says it is. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!"
